Today I am 10 weeks into better health and I am super excited. As such, we need to stop and really define metabolic health. What exactly is it? Weight loss? Better blood pressure? Sleeping better? More energy? Less sickness? Less medicine? Eating better? Well… the short answer is YES!
Lifestyle factors such as diet, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and genetics play significant roles in determining metabolic health. Poor lifestyle choices, like a sedentary routine and an unhealthy diet, can lead to metabolic dysfunction, which might contribute to obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other health issues. And this is one of those “ah ha” moments. Yes, I want to lose weight, but I have finally figured out, what I REALLY want to do is increase health which in turn will improve everything else. I am starting to get there by utilizing a ketovore diet. Come join me on this journey!
